We had a child in January (the first of our ten children without traditional medical insurance). The whole process was amazing. Our last child on traditional insurance was billed 25K and we had to pay 5K out of pocket. This time, with samaritan's our total bill was 14K and we paid nothing out of pocket. Financially, it's great and what a blessing to know that my share is going to help a fellow Christian and not going to care for same sex partners and abortions through traditional medical insurance.

God Bless Samaritan's.

I first heard of Samaritan Ministries because of Kim's blog :-D. Your referral program is awesome too.

With our private insurance, we got reimbursed only $400 for our home birth, after 16 months of submitting forms, resubmitting forms and many many telephone calls.

With Samaritan Ministries, we didn't have to pay anything, and all the money and sweet notes were there before the baby. We are looking forward to the peace of mind Samaritan offers for out next home birth.

Great DVD! Truly informative, sniereittng to watch, biblical, and convicting! A rare resource and excellent call to all parents to reclaim and renew their God-given responsibility in training their children in the fear and truth of the Lord Jesus Christ. After being a Christian school teacher for over a decade, I must sadly say I can see the same complacent attitude that has fallen upon many Christians in turning over their children to the government schools of post-modern America now reflected in those sending their children to Christian schools. Even those is home schooling can fall victim to a dependence upon the popular curricula and modern methods, checking their biblical discernment at the door. I do not believe that those seeking to keep the hearts and minds of children in darkness are really that worried about current private and home schools. They know that many of these institutions have adopted the same methodologies and philosophies of their secular humanist counterparts, namely the “public” school system. The grassroots popularity and advent of 21st Century technologies have been both a blessing and perhaps a curse to the home school movement. May we never stop being Bereans, checking all curriculum materials and methods against the Word of God. I, for one do not want to get to Heaven some day, believing I can claim ignorance or laziness. (Hosea 4:6) “Sanctify them by Thy Word. Thy Word is Truth.” John 17:17

The Winton's preformed for our church in Billings, Montana. They are so talented and full of love and encouragement throughout their entire performance. My children especially enjoyed the concert, they were literally dancing in their seats!

I think endorsements from big name people sway a lot of votes. I think it can be unfortunate because, unfortunately, a lot of people 'listen' to big name people rather than do the reseach themselves. Part of what has gotten us in such a mess is that we have all been swayed to think of the popular, the most charismatic speaker, the ones who can say what we want to hear rather than to look at those who really believe in the Constitution that our Founding Father brought forth to lead us. Knowing how those running for political office vote, live their life and what Christian values they really hold to, is extremely important rather than how they look or sound.

I believe you couldn't be more right. We must realize that God, who feeds the sparrows, is our ONLY source of hope, and the only One who can and will meet all our needs, no matter what the circumstances are around us.

You would not be far off if you had all the data you need to make a complete decision. It is unfortunate that the person you heard preach was so wrong, because there was a small amount of truth in what he said. There is something coming, but you can't predict it with the scriptures and storing food in your basement isn't going to help you. It isn't going to be a short term crisis like a tornado or hurricane, either. Look at the news and watch what is happening to the EU because in the blink of an eye it will be here. We, as Christians, must remember where our help comes from, but at the same time we must take a stand and back away from our dependency on the banks and government. This is not about making ourselves comfortable in a storm, this is about changing our lives now so that we will not be as hurt later. Watch the EU, watch China, study what happened at the end of the Roman Empire, study what happened in Brazil's economy not so long ago. There are signs, we have been given warnings, please do not dismiss them.

An endorsement from someone that I respect could make me consider a candidate that I hadn't previously considered. Especially an endorsement for a relatively unknown candidate.

When there is such a large field, it is tough to really know about all of the candidates. The media tends to focus on narrowing the race to two candidates, because (presumably) it makes reporting easier and let's the media draw conflict between the two 'front-runners'.

An endorsement can shine light on candidates that otherwise are not getting much attention. Why is 'so-and-so' supporting him?

The people who are becoming annoyed watch too much television.

If he gives God praise during each opportunity, the maximum amount of different people will see it and hopefully give it a thought. If he only does it now and then, fewer people see and hear the message.
