The Procedure: How it works

The Christian Health Care Newsletter is published and distributed monthly to a group of committed Christian subscribers who have offered to give a certain amount each month. The newsletter lists the current needs of its subscribers and shows who their payment is to help out that particular month. The three-fold opportunity for subscribers can be found in our slogan, “Send a note — pay your share — always stay alert in prayer.”

1) Send a note: Burdens can be lightened emotionally as we encourage one another in the Lord.
2) Pay your share: Burdens can be lightened physically as we do our part to financially meet other’s needs as they would in our time of need.
3) Always stay alert in prayer: Burdens can be lightened spiritually as we unite to call upon the God of the impossible.

These features serve to make the Christian Health Care Newsletter the ideal personal approach for Christians to take in order to bear one another’s burdens in a very tangible way.

As mentioned before, this is not an insurance company, but a Christian ministry. Medical need-sharing publications like this have grown in popularity and success ever since the Old Order Amish Church Fund began the modern-era of burden-bearing during the 1960’s. This is truly a Biblical concept whose time has come — again!
