How Save To Share™ Works!

As the cost of health care has risen, there have been a gradually increasing number of publishable needs that have exceeded the $100,000 maximum publishable amount in the basic ministry. Save to Share™ was established for members who want to share in the amount over $100,000. Save to Share™ participants are asked to set aside an annual amount that they can draw from when asked to help with a Save to Share™ need. Here’s how the process works:

  1. A Save to Share™ Need begins

    A Save to Share™ member has a publishable need that exceeds the $100,000 maximum amount publishable in the basic ministry. Members continue to pray for this need that has become an even greater burden.

  2. The Save to Share™ process begins

    The Samaritan Ministries staff verifies the extent of the need and schedules the amount that exceeds $100,000 for publication in a future newsletter as a Save to Share™ need.

  3. The Save to Share™ need is published

    The need is assigned to Save to Share™ members in addition to their regular monthly share.

  4. Save to Share™ members respond

    Save to Share™ members use the money they have set aside to provide for the extra amount assigned to them for the Save to Share™ need. They also continue to pray and send additional notes of encouragement.

  5. The burden is lifted

    The member receives the gifts and notes of encouragement and the confirmation of prayers.

  6. God is glorified

    The member is encouraged and praises God for His provision.


Limitations

  • No Save to Share™ need will receive more than half of the combined set aside amount held by the Save to Share™ members.
