Life after baby: Tips for moms with newborns

It’s May and that means Mother’s Day is just around the corner! Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there—for your tireless work, sacrifices, love, and care. I especially want to take this time to celebrate all the new moms—for the hard work you are doing each day as you care for your babies. I know this time can be so precious and yet so very hard as you care for this little person who is completely reliant on you for their every need.
While you probably suspected there would be some challenging days after baby arrived, you may have been caught off guard with just how hard this time can be. Those first weeks can feel like an endless cycle of diaper changes, feeding, and soothing your baby made crazier by sleepless nights, new parent anxiety, and hormonal shifts. You’re probably wondering if this is “normal” or when you’ll ever feel like some version of yourself again. Don’t worry, you’re not alone and you can do this, especially with somewhat to expect as well as what’s “normal.”
