Samaritan member stars in new renovation show on HGTV

Samaritan member Clint Robertson and business partner Luke Caldwell’s renovation talents will be on national display starting Sunday on Boise Boys on HGTV, premiering May 21 at 1 p.m. ET, 10 a.m. PT.

They’ll be working on a “mid-century split-level home” for this first program.

Clint’s the builder and Luke’s the designer. Both have real estate and renovation backgrounds and teamed up a few years ago to form Timber and Love. Their reputation for quality grew quickly, and soon High Noon Entertainment, which also produces Fixer Uppers for HGTV, called.

Clint was careful to articulate that Timber and Love is not out to do a quick-fix job.

“We don’t just renovate homes,” he says. “We’re not traditional home flippers. We actually get in and create something beautiful. It’s almost the same way Samaritan Ministries works: We try to throw ourselves into the lives of people who are going to be living in the homes.”

They care about the result.

“It’s not just a job for us,” Clint says. “We’re very blessed to have the skills and the eye to be able to find homes and renovate them. Really, in every city there’s homes that could stand to be cleaned up and made more beautiful and kinda restored for a young family to move into and enjoy.”
