What is a worldview?

Bill Jack says that a worldview is “a set of glasses through which one sees the world around him.”
Christians with Biblical worldviews think about what goes on in their families, churches, and communities in light of God’s existence, and God’s good, supreme rule over everything. On the other hand, people with secular worldviews think about life as if God does not exist, or have any influence on our world.
Sadly, says the co-founder of Worldview Academy, “Too often, Christians love Jesus with their hearts, but their minds are trained to think secularly.” Christians develop a secular worldview instead of a Biblical one. The danger is that “What one pours into his mind will determine what he thinks, and what he thinks will determine how he acts—regardless of his heart-felt faith.”
Christians can “believe” in Biblical truths, but end up dishonoring the Lord they profess to love with their actions. “Jesus said the greatest commandment was to love God with ALL—heart, soul, mind, and strength. … That is why it is imperative to train Christians to think and then live in accord with a Biblical worldview.”
